Passwords and PassCodes

When push came to shove - and I was beginning to forget my passwords and passcodes - I decided to count how many I use within my 24/7 or during a weekly basis. I came up with an approximate total of twenty five (25) plus. That is in my opinion a large number of characters to quickly remember.

Now - Passwords have different categories - mild - medium - strong - or very strong. Using numbers, words and characters - are your best way to go. Creating a name for a Twitter account was extremely difficult not to mention the password. It took over 40 entries before I struck on a name never heard of or used before.

Where in the world - or how in the world did I get a ridiculous total of 25 or more? Employee numbers for two computers and clock along with passwords that are changed often - obviously - E-mail - Bank and/or Credit Union - Telephone Codes - Voicemails - Outside door entry into buildings - Websites - Purchase Websites - Magazines on-line - Security Codes for computers - local library passwords and passcodes - et cetera.

At first- I write them down and then enter them into my phone notepad eventually after much use I memorize all of them - have to. How can one function today without a password or passcode - it would be unheard of. As the years have passed since the 90's - I have more and more.

Even little kids should or must know for their own protection today - telephone numbers (if they don't already have their own phone) - home address and/or directions to their home-and of course age or birthday.

Somewhere into the future -{ it was told to me by a person-in-passing} - that people will have a Scan Bar Code tatooed onto their skin possibly on their hand or arm with a micro-computer chip - that encompasses all their personal information. That data would include financial - (buying and selling - banking)-medical information-SSAN#-Driver Numbers-Address-Telephone Numbers-anything that warrants importance for that person's life. How far into the future would that go? Where would the main computer hard drive information be stored? Kind of mind boggling to say the least. I'm hearing the Twilight Zone theme.

Yet - moreover - it could very well come to pass for humanity - everything has to be done so quickly - there is so much technology being developed everyday - we are involved in many areas or it could free-up more time for other activities. It made me think of Bible Prophecy - the Mark of the Beast 666 - New Testament - Book of Revelation.

From Wikipedia(View original Wikipedia Article)

A version of the Holy Bible - translates as this:

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I finally say - it feels as if we are in a 'prep mode'.

Let's keep on - keeping on - and contemplate about all that later on.

Everyone has their own system for picking passwords, but after awhile it can get confusing if one does not have a practical sequence.

I enjoyed your warm sense of humor on the password/passcode! I have so many myself that sometimes I have to request the password information from the website. I am tired of passwords. lolol! If a tattoo appears one day, I am finished. :D Great read and loved the hub! :)
